BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 3100 block of E. Monument St. reported that someone broke into her home through a rear window yesterday and stole a VCR valued at $400.
BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- A compace disc player valued at nearly $200 was stolen from a dwelling in the 2200 block of E. Baltimore St. after someone gained entry through a rear door.
BREAK-IN: Southeastern District -- Employees of Ken's Auto Works in the 3300 block of Esther Place reported that someone cut a lock from a door into the garage and stole mechanic's tools and welding equipment, all valued at nearly $2,200.
THEFT: Southeastern District -- A car with a Denver boot attached to one of its wheels while parked in the 1700 block of Lancaster St. in Fells Point was towed away, apparently by its owner, police said. The boot is valued at nearly $400, and there is a heavy fine for taking it off a car, police said.
ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Milton Barlow, of the 2100 block of E. Pratt St., reported he answered a knock at his door yesterday morning and was pushed back inside by a man who robbed him of his wallet containing $50. Barlow recognized the assailant and was to get a warrant for his arrest.
BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 200 block of S. Patterson Park Ave. reported that someone broke into a second-floor bedroom from a fire escape last weekend and stole gold jewelry valued at nearly $3,000.
THEFT: Southeastern District -- Joseph Manning, 42, of the 100 block of S. East Ave., reported that someone broke a window in his parked car near his home between Monday and yesterday and stole tools valued at nearly $1,000.
BURGLARY/ARREST: Southeastern District -- Police arrested a 29-year-old man and were holding him pending charges that he broke into a dwelling in the first block of S. East Ave. Occupants returned home and found the man inside, but he brandished a knife, threatened to cut them and fled. A resident followed him and pointed him out to a passing policeman, who arrested the suspect without incident.
ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Lisa Gordon, 22, of the 500 block of S. Bradford St., told police she was in the 1700 block of Aliceanna St. early yesterday when two men robbed her of her purse containing cash and other property, all valued at more than $40.
ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Police were seeking three men and a woman for robbing Darlene Paciocco, 23, of the 3900 block of Claremont Ave., as she walked in the 3300 block of Fait Ave. about 11 o'clock last night. Paciocco said the four got out of a car, and at least one of them struck her with a baseball bat. The robbers grabbed her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $300, and fled in the car. Paciocco recognized the woman and was expected to get a warrant for her arrest.
BURGLARY/ARREST: Southeastern District -- Police responding to a burglar alarm at the temporarily closed Hitching Post Bar in the 900 block of E. Baltimore St. about 8:30 last night arrested a man who was throwing cartons of cigarettes from a rear window. Charged was Lewis Johnson, 34, of no permanent address. The cigarettes were valued at nearly $800. The bar has been closed due to the illness of an owner.
ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police today were seeking three men for robbing the 7-Eleven store in the 700 block of E. 25th St. The robbers, one with a revolver, entered the store shortly after 3 a.m. yesterday and forced an employee to give them the contents of the cash register, about $70. Police said the three men did not fit the description of those sought for the murder of Hae Gak Chung, 51, night manager of the 7-Eleven store in the 400 block of E. 33rd St., who was slain during an attempted holdup less than 30 minutes earlier.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1600 block of E. 29th St. reported that someone broke into her outdoor storage shed yesterday and stole four automobile tires valued at nearly $400.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that a VCR and a wallet containing money were stolen from a dwelling in the 1300 block of Crofton Road after someone gained entry through a basement window.
ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police responding to the 7-Eleven store in the 7300 block of Harford Road arrested a teen-age male for shoplifting some toys. The youth was charged as a juvenile and released in the custody of his parents.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Anthony Robinson, of the 3000 block of Echodale Ave., reported that someone broke into his parked car in the 1900 block of E. 28th St. and stole .32-caliber semiautomatic handgun valued at more than $250.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Cindy Percinski, of the 3600 block of Glenmore Ave., reported that someone stole a $500 gas grill from her back porch.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Deborah Sherman reported that a propane gas grill and gas tank, together valued at nearly $500, were stolen from the back yard of her in the 4600 block of Walther Ave.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Elizabeth Phillips, an employee at the Veterans Administration Hospital in the 3900 block of Loch Raven Blvd., reported that someone entered her office yesterday and stole a blank check and a $180 money order from her desk.
BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Northeastern District -- Police arrested two teen-agers and charged them as juveniles with breaking into a dwelling in the 5900 block of Benton Heights Ave. Police said the youths were arrested inside the house yesterday morning before they could steal anything. The teen-agers were released in the custody of their parents.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- David Stamper, of the 4300 block of Shamrock Ave., reported that someone broke into his parked car in the 2000 block of Odell Ave. and stole property valued at more than $400.
THEFT/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police yesterday arrested a 36-year-old woman for shoplifting more than $100 worth of clothing at the Burlington Coat Factory at the Northwood Shopping Center in the 1600 block of Havenwood Road.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Employees of the 7-Eleven store in the 5900 block of Pulaski Highway told police that someone broke into the office through the ceiling and stole a bag containing cash, checks and food stamps, all valued at more than $2,000.

ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- Willie Felder, of the 1300 block of E. Eager St. in the city, told police he was robbed early today of his car and $13 in cash by a man he picked up in the city who asked for a ride to the 6700 block of Richardson Road. Felder said the man told him he had been robbed in the city and needed a ride. Upon arriving at the Richardson Road address about 1:40 a.m., the man told Felder he would get some money to pay him for his troubles. Felder said when the man returned from the back of the house with a gun and robbed him of his money and car. The 1989 Honda has license plates RTG-624.
Anne Arundel County
SEX ARRESTS: Glen Burnie -- Police working undercover in Friendship Park, the scene of numerous arrests in recent months of men soliciting for sex, arrested two men over the weekend and charged them with various sex offenses. Charged with committing a fourth-degree sex offense in separate incidents were Stephen Mark Mariner, 46, of the 500 block of Melrose Lane in Severna Park, and Joaquin Alvarez-Dominiquez, 30, of Baltimore. Police said one of the officers in the park had been approached by a man who asked him to accompany him into the woods. There, the man sexually assaulted the officer, who immediately arrested him. That same night, a second officer was seated in an unmarked car when a man approached and asked if he could enter the car. Moments later, the man assaulted the officer sexually and was arrested.
Howard County
ROBBERY: Columbia -- Police are continuing their search for a gunman who robbed a clerk at the prescription counter at the People's drug store in the King's Contrivance Village Center last week and escaped with a bag containing several bottles of pain-killing drugs, including Percocet and Percodan. Police said the man was seen driving off in a maroon four-door hatchback auto.
BURGLARY: Columbia -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 5300 block of Fallriver Row Court through a basement window and stole several pieces of electronic equipment and some clothing.
Harford County
KIDNAPPING/ASSAULT: Havre de Grace -- Police arrested three Aberdeen men and charged them with kidnapping David L. Jones, of Havre de Grace, last month. Police said three intruders entered Jones' home in the 200 block of Bloomsbury Ave. March 30 and struck him with a baseball bat while abducting him. Jones was driven to an isolated section of Darlington, where he was again struck with the baseball bat and was kicked out of the car, which sped off. Jones was treated at Harford Memorial Hospital. Following an investigation, police arrested Timothy D. Kornegan, 18; Craig E. Wallace, 22; and Jerome L. Quickley Jr., 18. Kornegan was charged with kidnapping, maiming, assault, battery and false imprisonmment; Wallace and Quickley were each charged with kidnapping.
THEFT: Bel Air -- Police said several aluminum foundation construction panels valued at more than $11,000 were stolen from the parking lot of Mel's Masonry Inc. in the 1200 block of Athens Court.
Carroll County
ROBBERY TRY/ARREST: FBI agents and deputies from the Frederick County Sheriff's Department arrested Martin E. Lawson, 31, of the 7200 block of Green Valley Road, and charged him with the April 6 attempted armed robbery of the Woodsboro Savings Bank in Mount Airy. Police said a man entered the bank around 9 a.m. that day and asked an employee about what financial services the bank offered. The man left after a few minutes, but returned nearly two hours later and demanded money from a teller while armed with a handgun. Police said the teller refused to comply with the man's demand, causing him to turn and flee. With information gathered from the bank's employees and other evidence, Lawson was arrested last week and charged with attempted armed robbery.
