This is a weekly summary of selected prime contracts recently awarded by the federal government to companies and other vendors in Maryland.

Maryland contracts

Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Linthicum won a $173,562,811 contract from the Air Force to supply engines, turbines and components.

MCSI Technologies Inc. in Silver Spring won a $14,142,845 contract from the Navy to provide technical support for database management.

Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Co. in Timonium won an $8,338,460 contract from the Army Corps of Engineers to provide maintenance dredging approximately 4 miles of Fort McHenry Channel.

Quality Elevator Co. in Bladensburg won a $2,503,500 contract from the Construction Contracts Division to upgrade an elevator system.

Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Linthicum won a $1,977,752 contract from the Army to provide advanced battle management services.

Oracle Corp. in Bethesda won a $1,258,616 contract from the Department of Justice to provide software licenses.

Pathology Associates Inc. in Frederick won a $955,175 contract from the Army to study the compound disopropyl methlophosphonate in mink.

Compliance Corp. in Lexington Park

won a $761,750 contract from the Navy to provide mechanical support services for the NESEA agency at St. Inigoes.

Modern Electric Inc. in Glen Burnie won a $633,000 contract from the Goddard Space Flight Center to supply a load center for Building 14.

Science and Engineering Services Inc. in Silver Spring won a $494,396 contract from the Goddard Space Flight Center to provide equipment for the tuning and operation of solid state lasers.

Cobb Construction Inc. in Rockville won a $173,610 contract from the Navy to build a mezzanine floor in Building 3 at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington.

Motorola Inc. in Landover won a $134,615 contract from the Army to provide microwave system maintenance.

Rogay Inc. in Rockville won a $104,930 contract from the Goddard Space Flight Center to provide exhibit and model services.

Cardinal Scientific Inc. in Clinton won a $63,272 contract from the Army to supply a mass human delousing spray gun.
