NAVY TRACK TEAM WINS MEET

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Navy's 3-1 men's track contingent won the Colonial Athletic Association Championship last Saturday, posting 174 points. George Mason finished second with 161.

Senior Rob Sehnert led the way by winning both the shot put (55- 3/4) and the discus (163-11). Senior Bryant Clevanger finished second in both events. Classmate Matt Howard won firstplace in the hammer throw with a toss of 179-4. Other winners included Jeff Nordstrom (pole vault, 14-5 1/4) and Anthony Terrell (triple jump, 49-7).

Second-place finishers were Greg Keller (1,500 meters, 3 minutes,55.2 seconds), Todd Washburn (5,000 meters, 14:25.72.) and the 4x400mater relay team (3:19.50). Head coach Steve Cooksey was named the CAA's Coach of the Year.
