Services will take place for Edgewater resident Charles Paul Smith at 8 p.m. April 14, Hardesty Funeral Home in Galesville.

Mr. Smith, 28, died of injuries from a fall April 9 in Pittsburgh.

He was employed as a salesman with Better Home Improvements in Upper Marlboro.

Mr. Smith was a member of Gambrills Athletic Club.

Other interests included hunting, fishing, billiards and bowling.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Smith of Edgewater; sisters, Donna Marie Smith of Lusby and Betty Jo MacDonald of Upper Marlboro; and brothers, Robert James Smith of Edgewater and Charles E. Cole of Upper Marlboro.

PATTI J. BUSH, Dispatcher, 37

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated for Millersville resident Patti Jean Bush April 15 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

Mrs. Bush, 37, died April 12 at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

She was employed as a dispatcher for 14 years.

A member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, she enjoyed watching the Redskins and Capitals, needlepoint and reading.

She is survived by her husband, William J. Bush; a son, Eric D. Bailey of Millersville; her parents, Raymond and Freda Rever of Laurel; a brother, Al Rever of Columbia; and three sisters, Sherie Burgher ofSyracuse, N.Y., Dianne Kimling of Phoenix, Ariz., and Carla Howardton of Alexandria, Va.

EVELYN FITZSIMMONS, Homemaker, 77

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated for Riva resident Evelyn Helen Fitzsimmons April 17 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Davidsonville.

Mrs. Fitzsimmons, 77, died of cancer April 12 at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Francis J. Fitzsimmons; a son, George F. Fitzsimmons of Riva; a daughter, Evelyn Lee Fitzsimmons of Arnold; four granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.
