BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Northeastern District -- Police arrested three youths and charged them with delinquency in the break-in of a dwelling in the 2400 block of Hamilton Ave. and the theft of a large assortment of baseball cards. Police said the baseball cards were recovered and returned to the owner. Entry into the house was gained through a window. Police said the youths, 12, 13 and 14, were released in the custody of their parents pending action by juvenile authorities.
THEFT: Central District -- Matthew Langenfelter, an out-of-town resident, reported that while his car was parked in the 200 block of W. Lanvale St., someone broke into the vehicle and removed three cable TV converters and five TV remote control tuners. Police said the property was valued at $1,000.
BURGLARY: Central District -- Employees of the Ice Cream Bar in the 1800 block of N. Charles St. reported that someone broke into the business early yesterday and stole $500 in coins and an AM-FM stereo radio valued at $100. Police said entry was gained through the front window.
THEFT/ARREST: Central District -- Police arrested a man who attempted to break into a car while the vehicle was parked in the 200 block of Water St. Police said the man was seen breaking into the car by a security officer at a nearby business. The security officer detained the man until police arrived. Police said the man was held overnight pending charges of attempted theft. A bail hearing was scheduled before a District Court commissioner.
ROBBERY: Central District -- A teen-age resident of the 700 block of George St. told police she was walking down the stairway in her high-rise apartment building about 8 a.m. yesterday when she was assaulted by a man who robbed her of the book bag she was carrying. Police said the girl was not injured and that the value of the property, school books and personal items, was not immediately known.
ARRESTS: Central District -- Police arrested two youths and charged them with delinquency in the attempted break-in of a car while the vehicle was parked in the 100 block of Mosher St. yesterday morning. The car is owned by Alvin Harrison, of the 3300 block of Brendan Ave. Police said the youths were released in the custody of their parents pending action by juvenile authorities.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that property valued at nearly $600 was removed from a dwelling in the 4400 block of Marble Hall Road. Police said the person who entered the dwelling left no signs of forced entry.
ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A deliveryman for Domino's pizza in the 6300 block of Kenwood Ave. reported that while leaving a dwelling in the 5900 block of Daywalt Ave. after learning that the occupants did not order any food, he was accosted by two men, one armed with a handgun, who ordered him to give up his money and the food he carried. Police said the gunman and his accomplice escaped with cash and property, all valued at nearly $60.
ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police today continued seeking a man who robbed a deliveryman for A-1 Pizza & Sub in the 4200 block of Frankford Ave. as he left a home in the 5900 block of Daywalt Ave. when the occupants informed him they did not order any food. Police said a man armed with a knife robbed the deliveryman of cash and property valued at $50. Police said that in both incidents on Daywalt Avenue the robberies occurred after a bogus food order was placed by phone.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1500 block of Winston Ave. reported that property valued at nearly $2,300 was removed from her home after someone gained entry by opening a rear door.
SHOOTING: Western District -- Police reported that Kenneth Collins, of the 1100 block of N. Stricker St., was walking in the 1200 block of N. Carey St. when he heard the sound of gunshots. Police said Collins felt pain in both legs and fell to the ground bleeding from gunshot wounds to the right and left thighs. Police said Collins was taken by ambulance to the University of Maryland Medical Center, where he was listed today in good condition. Police said they had no motive for the shooting and no suspect in custody.
BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 2600 block of W. Lafayette Ave. reported that someone removed more than $200 worth of property from her home after gaining entry through a rear door. Police said the intruder made off with stereo receiving and recording equipment and a telephone.
BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man and charged him with breaking into a dwelling in the 2700 block of Rayner Ave. and stealing a VCR and a stereo turntable, all valued at $600. Police said entry was gained by forcing a door. Police said Ellsworth Massey, 34, of the 2800 block of W. Lanvale St., was charged with burglary and was being held in lieu of $7,500 bail.
BURGLARY: Central District -- Police reported that someone broke into Edith's Grocery in the 700 block of W. Lafayette Ave. between Monday and yesterday and removed several food items. Police said entry was gained through the roof.
ROBBERY: Central District -- Dinah Kernes, of the 900 block of Druid Lake Drive, reported she was in the 900 block of W. North Ave. early yesterday when she was approached from behind by a man who stole her purse and fled. Police said the man escaped with cash and property, all valued at more than $100.
BURGLARY/ARREST: Central District -- Police investigating a burglary in progress in the 2300 block of Maryland Ave. yesterday arrested a 36-year-old man and were holding him at the station lockup pending burglary charges. Police said the man was arrested before he could remove any property.
THEFT: Central District -- Police were seeking two men, both with long hair, who broke into a pickup truck while the vehicle was parked in the first block of S. Howard St. and removed an industrial-type saw valued at $900. Police said the saw was the property of the Herzog Contracting Corp. in the 200 block of W. Centre St.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Raymond Hohrin, of the 4300 block of Cedar Garden Road, reported he was walking near his home when he was stopped by three men, one armed with a handgun, who demanded he give up his money. Police said one of the men removed $20 in cash from Hohrin's pockets and that the three then fled.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Police reported that Winston Howe, of the 3900 block of Cranston Ave., was in the 600 block of Denison St. when he was attacked by a man who knocked him to the pavement and robbed him of property and cash, all valued at $80.
THEFT: Southwestern District -- Guy Puig, of the 1200 block of Haverhill Road, reported that someone entered the back yard of his home and removed more than $300 worth of garden supplies and equipment.
ROBBERY: Northern District -- John Jones, of the 600 block of Gorsuch Ave., reported that during an incident near his home, he was accosted by a man who robbed him of his wallet. Police said the robber escaped with cash and property, all valued at nearly ** $170.
THEFT: Northern District -- Marie Ewing, of the 100 block of Taplow Road, reported to police that someone entered her property and removed $400 worth of lawn furniture.
THEFT: Northern District -- Earl Bradsher, of the 3700 block of Gwynn Oak Ave., told police that while his car was parked in the 500 block of E. 25th St., someone broke into the vehicle and removed tools, two stereo speakers, two sets of car seat covers and stereo radio equipment. Police said the property was valued at nearly $1,600.
THEFT: Northern District -- Raymond Weinstein, of the 4700 block of Maryknoll Road, reported that someone broke into his car while the vehicle was parked in the 4500 block of Millbrook Road and removed property valued at nearly $500. Police said the thief escaped with a stereo radio and at least one speaker.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Lynnette Dudley, of the 1800 block of Poplar Grove St., told police she was near her home when she was robbed of $50 in cash by a man armed with a handgun.
Baltimore County
ROBBERY: Garrison District -- Police reported that a couple was robbed at gunpoint last night of their money and personal property by two males, one an adult and the other a juvenile, as the victims were walking toward their home in Morningside Heights Apartments. Officer Randy Tuer said the couple, whose names were not immediately available, were walking toward their apartment building in the 100 block of Willow Bend Drive about 10:30 p.m. when they were stopped by the pair, one armed with a small-caliber automatic, who had been hiding behind some bushes. Tuer said the gunman and his accomplice robbed the husband of his wallet and forced the woman to give up her purse. A total of $50 in cash and property was taken. Tuer said that as the two robbers were about to run away, one robber yelled to his accomplice, "Shoot them, shoot them." Tuer said the gunman did not and that the victims ran to their apartment and dialed 911. Tuer said that based on descriptions of the pair, warrants were expected to be issued for their arrests today. Tuer said the suspects are known to the police and live near the scene of the robbery.

DRUG ARREST: Woodland Beach -- Entering a home in the 100 block of Mayo Road with a search and seizure warrant, county narcotics and uniformed officers seized 75 grams of suspected marijuana and arrested the occupant. Police said Keith Neil Crutchley, 37, was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and that nearly $275 in cash, reportedly the proceeds of drug transactions, was seized. Police said bail information on Crutchley was not immediately available.
BURGLARY: Glen Burnie -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 8200 block of Silver Run Court and removed $100 in cash. Police said entry was gained by forcing a door.
BURGLARY: Millersville -- A resident of the 800 block of Generals Highway reported that someone broke into his home and removed nearly $1,500 worth of appliances and other household items.
BURGLARY: Odenton -- Police said tools valued at $800 were removed from a dwelling in the 2700 block of Conway Road after someone gained entry by forcing a door.
Howard County
BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Columbia -- Police arrested two county men and charged them with breaking into Wilde Lake High School and attempting to steal computer equipment. Police said an officer responding to an alarm at the school in the 5400 block of Trumpeter Road spotted two men fleeing and arrested them following a brief chase. Police said a third man seen running away from the school remains at large. Police said Tracy Lamont Hood, 20, of the 700 block of Cherry Tree Drive in Fulton, and Vincent Lee Henry, 18, of the 5900 block of Turnabout Lane in Columbia, were each charged with burglary. Police said both men were being held at the county detention center on $10,000 bail each.
