Services for Anna H. Howes, retired director of the Lower School at the Roland Park Country School, will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in North Andover, Mass.

Mrs. Howes, 86, died Wednesday at a nursing home in Andover, Mass.

Born Anna Harraden in North Andover, she returned there about 20 years ago after retiring from the Baltimore school, where she had worked since 1954.

Arthur W. Howes, who taught organ and religious music at the Peabody Conservatory, died in 1989.

Mrs. Howes was a 1925 graduate of Wheaton College. She was a former senior warden of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in North Andover.

Mrs. Howes is survived by a daughter, Anne Bellew of North Andover, and a grandson.
