THE BALTIMORE SUN

The 1977 Severna Park Stingers of Coach Bob Carhart improved their unblemished indoor soccer record to 5-0 Saturday by hammering the Chesapeake Soccer Club, 13-1, at Myers Pavilion in Brooklyn.

Kevin Robinson and Jeff Miller tallied three goals each for the Stingers, and teammate J.T. Carhart netted two. Scoring a goal apiece for the victors were Chris Cannella, Adam Hurst, Jeremy Schneider, David Miller and Jorge Torres.

Carhart emerged as Severna Park's assist ace, with four feeds. Torres, Cannella and Troy Dixon recorded two assists each, while Schneider and Brian Kurtz finished with one each.

Sharing time in the net were Hurst, Carhart, Matt Griswold, Jonathan Holleran and David Miller.

Severna Park will try to make it six in a row Saturday when it battles EDRECO in a 6 p.m. contest at Myers.
