Mabbett King Reckord Jr., a retired United States Steel Corp. executive who had attended school in Baltimore, where he had relatives, died March 28 in Lakeland, Fla., after a long illness. He was 67.

He is survived by his wife, the former Joanne King of Lakeland; two sons, M. K. Reckord 3rd of Lakeland and Craig T. Reckord of Camden, S.C.; a daughter, Beth Reckord of Baltimore; an aunt, Paula T. Stevens, also of Baltimore, and four grandchildren.
