April 9, 1976: An Opening Day crowd of 46,425 watched, as Jim Palmer and Dyar Miller combined to beat Boston, 1-0. The Orioles managed only 3 hits off Ferguson Jenkins, but won on back-to-back errors by future Orioles Rick Burleson and Fred Lynn in the fourth inning.
