Services took place for Glen Burnie resident Hugh Donnelly on Saturday, April 6, at Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Donnelly, 74, died of stroke April 4 at North Arundel Hospital.

A resident of the county for 18 years, he was a graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and employed as an inspector for Westinghouse Corp. until his retirement in 1986. Prior to that he was employedfor 31 years with civil service.

Mr. Donnelly was a member of Glen Burnie Elks.

His other interests included golfing and bowling.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jean Schuler Donnelly; a brother, John Donnelly of Brooklyn Park; and a sister, Rita Nahnibida of Glen Burnie.

THELMA F. SAIIA HOMEMAKER, 80

Services took place for Glen Burnie resident Thelma F. Saiia on Thursday, April 4, at Singleton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Saiia, 80, died April 1 at University Hospital.

This homemaker was a resident of Glen Burnie for 26 years.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jake Saiia, she is survived by a son, Robert H. Saiia of Crownsville; two sisters, Mary Gromovsky ofRichmond, Va., and Evelyn Mickanic of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
