This is a weekly summary of selected prime contracts recently awarded by the federal government to companies and other vendors in Maryland.

Maryland contracts

Exeter Associates in Silver Spring won a $2,846,151 contract from the Department of Energy to provide utilities support services.

I-Net in Bethesda won a $1,963,554 contract from the Pentagon to provide automated data processing facilities operation and management, operating system software support and information center support services.

Raymond Corp. in Rockville won a $1,304,185 contract from the Defense Construction Supply Center to furnish a shipboard truck fork.

Kennedy Electric Co. Inc. in Rockville won a $928,829 contract from the Army for upgrading power and air conditioning.

Frank Parsons Co. Inc. in Landover won an $850,000 contract from the U.S. Information Agency to exercise an existing option to extend the term for one year for furnishing white offset book printing paper.

C. R. Daniels Inc. in Ellicott City won a $780,767 contract from the U.S. Postal Service to supply canvas hampers with coasters.

Ontar Corp. in Brookline won a $762,704 contract from the Navy to provide metric analysis enhancements.
