Vice President Dan Quayle is expected to throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Monday at the Orioles-White Sox game, the last season opener to be played at Baltimore's Memorial Stadium.
Quayle will be accompanied by two other first ball hurlers, Bob Turley and Virgil Trucks, the starting pitchers in the first game ever played at Memorial Stadium.
In addition, the Orioles announced that U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Delores King Williams will sing the national anthem Monday. A Baltimore native, Williams is a member of the Army's Jazz Ambassadors.
