3 BRUINS, 2 PATRIOTS ON ALL-TOURNEY TEAM

Three members of the Broadneck baseball team, along with two playersfrom Old Mill, were among the 14 athletes chosen to the all-tournament team at the conclusion of Monday's eighth annual Bruin Holiday Baseball Tournament.

Bruins shortstop-pitcher Jeff Vincent, second baseman-pitcher Johnny Williams and third baseman Brad Reinhart were selected, as were Old Mill catcher John Bussey and designated hitter Mike Mahoney.

Also chosen to the team were Archbishop Curley center fielder James Libber, right fielder Dominic Debraccio, third baseman Ron Hartman, pitcher-designated hitter Bryan Bowen and catcher Joe Petryszak.

Loyola had three representatives on the all tournament team -- catcher Kevin Reeb, first baseman-outfielder Doug Renner and pitcher-thirdbaseman Marshall Robers.

Archbishop Curley won the tournament forthe second straight year, defeating Old Mill, 2-1, and Broadneck, 9-5.

Broadneck was runner-up in the holiday tournament, beating Loyola in 11 innings, 3-2, in the semifinals.
