Graveside services will take place for Odenton resident Richard F. Boswell at 10 a.m. today at Southern Maryland Memorial Gardens in Dunkirk.

Mr. Boswell, 62, died of cardiac arrest March 25 at North Arundel Hospital.

Formerly of Rosehaven, he was employed by the county school system in the custodial department of North Arundel Vo-Tech School.

An avid Redskin fan, Mr. Boswell enjoyed race cars and sports.

His wife, Vashti Boswell, died in 1986.

He is survived by two sons, Stanley Copeland of Potomac and Francis Copeland of Arlington, Va.; and nine grandchildren.

Arrangements are being made byHardesty Funeral Home in Gambrills.


Services will take place for Edgewater resident Edward R. Ray at 10 a.m. March 30 at Fort Lincoln Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel in Brentwood.

Mr. Ray, 80, died of heart failure March 27 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

An Edgewater resident since 1955, he was employed as a contractor in the Washington and Annapolis area for 42 years until his retirement in 1975.

Mr. Ray was a member of Washington City Church of the Brethren and Annapolis Elks Lodge 622. His other interests included hunting and fishing.

His wife, Nellie Holsinger Ray, diedin 1984.

He is survived by a son, Edward R. Ray III of Edgewater;a stepson, Harry Rinker of Annapolis; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Hardesty Funeral Home in Annapolis.
