Wanitta R. Wier, a retired secretary and a hospital volunteer for more than 25 years, died Tuesday at North Arundel Hospital after a heart attack. She was 76 and lived in Cape Arthur.

Services for Mrs. Wier were being held today, at the Barranco and Sons funeral establishment, Ritchie Highway and Robinson Road, Severna Park.

The former Wanitta Razkensperger was born in Baltimore and graduated from Western High School.

Her husband, Robert S. Wier, died in 1983.

She is survived by a daughter, Judith D. Drinks of Annapolis; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
