Services for Marjorie Theresa Woodfield, a retired Baltimore County high school librarian, will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at St. John the Baptist Church in Throop, Pa.

Mrs. Woodfield, who lived on Kirwin Court in the Revere Park ZTC area of Baltimore County, died Thursday at Stella Maris Hospice after a brief illness. She was 64.

She retired in 1989 from Chesapeake Senior High School in eastern Baltimore County.

Mrs. Woodfield served in Baltimore County public schools for 27 years. She opened new libraries at Chesapeake Senior High and twice at Perry Hall Senior High, first at the original location and then at its present location.

Mrs. Woodfield was born in Throop, Pa. She graduated from Throop High School and was a 1947 graduate of Marywood College in Scranton, Pa.

The former Marjorie Stoyak married Charles W. Woodfield, a Baltimore County high school teacher, in 1950.

After her retirement, Mrs. Woodfield traveled extensively and attended the theater. She was also a member of RETABCO, the association of retired county educators.

She is survived by three sons, Michael D. Woodfield of Montpelier, Vt., Joseph P. Woodfield of Hinton, W.Va., and John R. Woodfield of Baltimore; her mother, Mary E. Stoyak of Throop, Pa.; a brother, Dr. Joseph M. Stoyak of Springfield, Mass.; and two granddaughters.

The family suggests that donations be made to the Salvation Army or Stella Maris Hospice.
