Pasadena resident John Leopold has been appointed by President Bush to be a member of the National Council on Disability.

The NationalCouncil on Disability is an independent federal agency composed of 15 members who are appointed by the president and confirmed by the U.S. Senate. It is the only federal agency charged with addressing, analyzing and making recommendations on issues of public policy that affect people with disabilities.
