Newcomers: Juniors, John Mooreland (att), Danny Weichert (mid), Mike Eicens (mid), Paul Schirone (mid), Shaun Snodgrass (mid) and Mark Belote (g); sophomores Rob Barber (g) and Jayme Block (mid)

Coach's outlook: "The last two years we've made it to the playoffs and lost to Mount Hebron both times. The guys are sort of hungry for another chance and they're really putting forth a lot of time and effort. With Danny Sisas and Dwayne Davis graduating, we lost two key attack men and we're working hard to try and fill those two spots. Coach Braun was a junior varsity coach last year but he's going to work with the (varsity) offense and I'll concentrate on defense."

Anne Arundel County Sun's outlook: The Bulldogs' schedule is much tougher since they are playing every county team, but Schwarz and his charges have their eyes on a playoff berth. They are building their hopes around Griner and Phipps in the attack and Songer, Derrick and Weichert in the midfield. Belote and Barber are vying to start in goal. They'll get early tests from North County and Arundel. The Bulldogs will reach the playoffs, but whether they can go further remains to be seen.
