Coach's outlook: "We're looking to the playoffs. It's a little more difficult in this sport, but it's one of our goals. It's a special treat for the kids, and if they work hard, hopefully the other things will fall into place. It's going to be exciting. The kids are showing a lot of enthusiasm. There's a real commitment, especially for a bunch of kids who don't even know me."

Anne Arundel County Sun's outlook: What the Patriots know about Sponsler is his immense success with the girls soccer program. But will that success translate into lacrosse victories? Probably notvery many in the first year, although having Zaetz in the lineup means the Patriots won't hunger for goals. This group will have to over-achieve to reach the postseason. The Pats are young -- with only fourseniors on the roster -- and with Sponsler at the helm, the future looks bright.
