Coach's outlook: "We've had scrimmages against Key School and Spalding and I'd have to say it looks good. Between the two games, our defense did a better job. We were very aggressive after loose balls and looking to pass the ball to the open man. Offensively, though, we were still a little timid with our game inside near the goal. Because of the weather, we haven't had a lot of practices outside. But defense was what I was really worried about so I'm hoping that the offense will develop. We're looking to go reach the .500 mark."

Anne Arundel County Sun's outlook: With a pair of top returning scorers back, in addition to eight returning starters from last year's team, the Eagles are bound to improve. In all, the Eagles return 10 talented underclassmen from last year's varsity squad, so Manz has respectable talent on reserve. The Eagles will improve on lastyear's season, but not very far beyond that. With the rest of the county's talent, Manz has set a break-even season as a realistic goal.
