Services took place for Arnold resident Lois Frances Hynes on March 19 at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hynes, 67,died of cancer March 16 in Arnold.
An Arnold resident since 1974, this homemaker previously lived inWest Baltimore and Dundalk. She graduated from Wicomico High School.
Mrs. Hynes was a charter member of Colts Corral No. 33 in Arnold.
Her other interests included plants, crafts and dancing.
Her husband of 50 years, Edward Hynes, died in 1990.
She is survived bytwo daughters, Mildred Wentz of Jessup and Mary Bodnar of Chester; four sons, Edward A. Hynes of Baltimore, John Hynes of Dundalk, William Hynes of Essex, and Norman Hynes of Arnold; and 12 grandchildren.
ADELINE L. JEX NURSE, 67
Services will take place for Severna Park resident Adeline Louise Jex at 11 a.m. today at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jex, 67, who was hit by an automobile March 17, died at University Hospital in Baltimore.
Born in Kansas City, Mo., she attended school in Idaho, studied nursing at Home Hospital in Lafayette, Ind., and graduated from Purdue University in 1948.
She was employed as a nurse at Home Hospital in Indiana and then at Royal Oak General Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich.
Mrs. Jex moved to Severna Park in 1970 and was a member of Severna Park United Methodist Church, Meals on Wheels, Anne Arundel Medical Center Auxiliary, and Severna Park Women's Bowling League.
Her other interests included ceramics, needlework, reading and cake decorating.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Earl C. Jex; three daughters, NanHuddle of Severna Park, Marcie McGrillies of Salisbury, and Barbara Ward of Crofton; and six grandchildren.
GORDON SCHULTZ SR. ENGINEER,70
Services will take place for Severn resident Gordon M. SchultzSr. at 1 p.m. today at Singleton Funeral Home.
Mr. Schultz, 70, died of emphysema March 17 at North Arundel Hospital.
He was employed as an engineer for 23 years by the Clifton T. Perkins State Hospital until his retirement in 1982. He also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Mr. Schultz was a member of Severn United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy M. Schultz; a son, Gordon M. Schultz Jr. of Glen Burnie; two sisters, Emma Hartis of Gambrills and Addie Escavage of Severn; a grandson, Jason E. Schultz anda great-grandson, Jay Hopkins.
His son, Glenn E. Schultz, died before him.
RAYMOND BOWMAN RETIRED COLONEL, 74
Graveside services took place for Glen Burnie resident Raymond X. Bowman on March 19 at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
Mr. Bowman, 74, died March 15 at North Arundel Hospital.
He served in the U.S. Army for 22 years, includingWorld War II and the Korean War, until his retirement as a lieutenant colonel in 1963. He then worked for the State Unemployment Office for 14 years until his retirement in the 1970s.
His other interestsincluded fishing and bowling.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Frances M. Bowman; two sons, Raymond A. Bowman of Sun Valley and Richard Bowman of Marley; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
His son, Mark W. Bowman, died before him.
MARIAN E. ERGOTT GE PLANT WORKER, 59
Services took place for Pasadena resident Marian E. Whisman Ergott on March 18 at Kirkley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ergott, 59, died of heart failure March 15 at North Arundel Hospital.
A resident of the country for 40 years, she was employed as an assembly plant worker at General Electric Co. for the past 13 years.
Her other interests included shopping flea markets, bingo, yard work and flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Walter L. Ergott; two sons,Robert E. Lee of Severn and David W. Lee of Phoenix City, Ala.; two stepsons, Walter L. Ergott Jr. and Todd T. Ergott, both of South Carolina; three stepdaughters, Ruby E. Smith of Glen Burnie, Reva G. Melloy of Pasadena, and Debra A. Trotter of Laurel; a brother, James Whisman of Glen Burnie; two sisters, Blanch Erlich of Glen Burnie and Lois Carey of Columbus, Ga.; 15 grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
EARL M. ZONN SR. ENGINEER, 63
Services took place for Severn resident Earl McCready Zonn Sr. on March 19 at Singleton Funeral Home.
Mr. Zonn, 63, died March 16 at his home.
He was employed as an electrical engineer by Westinghouse Corp. for 28 years until his retirement in February. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Zonn was a member of Severn Baptist Church and donated much of his time to local churches and organizations for electrical projects.
His other interests included camping, computers and electrical work.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lena Ann Lane Zonn; a daughter, Brenda G. Wilson of Annapolis; two sons, Earl M. Zonn Jr. of Warner Robins, Ga., and Kevin O. Zonn of Millersville; three sisters, Margie School of Chesapeake Beach, Zane C. Cecil of Clearwater, Fla., and Francis Hart of Baltimore; and five grandchildren.

KATHERINE E. SMITH HOMEMAKER, 67
Services took place for Glen Burnie resident Katherine Elizabeth Smith on March 18 at Singleton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith, 67, died March 15 at North Arundel Hospital.
A former resident of Brooklyn, she was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and cooking.
She issurvived by her husband of 49 years, Bernard Smith; a son, Kenneth Smith of Glen Burnie; and a daughter, Carol Ann Lycett of Brooklyn.
BARBARA K. SUP HOMEMAKER, 92
Services took place for Gambrills resident Barbara Korecko Sup on March 11 at Hardesty Funeral Home in Annapolis.
Mrs. Sup, 92, died of heart failure March 9 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Born in Czechoslovakia, she was a homemaker and a resident of the county since 1963.
She enjoyed crocheting.
Her husband, John Sup, died in 1973.
She is survived by two daughters, Helen Patterson of Gambrills and Pauline Vangor Yonkers of New York; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
ROGER A. LANE LAB TECHNICIAN, 46
Services took place for Pasadena resident Roger Alan Lane on March 13 at Calvary Temple.
Mr. Lane, 46, died March 10 at North Arundel Hospital.
He was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School, Anne Arundel Community College, Berry College in Georgia and Bob Jones University in South Carolina.
Mr. Lane was employed as a lab technician for the U.S. Navy Academy Civil Service for 11 years, until his retirement.
He was a member of Calvary Temple.
His other interests included tropical fish, oil painting, building model cars, and boats.
He is survived by his aunt, Delma Upton of Pasadena, with whom he lived most of his life; two other aunts, Iva Hale of Glen Burnie and Shirley Rist of EllicottCity; three uncles, Robert Watson of Brooklyn, Turner U. Watson of Millersville, and Donald Watson of Baltimore; and a brother, E. Thomas Lane Jr. of Pasadena.
DOMINICK J. AEILLO ARMY VETERAN, 79
Services took place for Odenton resident Dominick Joseph Aeillo on March 12 at Singleton Funeral Home.
Mr. Aeillo, 79, died March 8 at Fort Meade.
A veteran of World WarII, he served in the U.S. Army for 20 years until his retirement in 1963.
Mr. Aeillo was a member of Chapter 33 Disabled American Veterans.
His other interests included gardening, bird-watching and checkers.
He is survived by his wife, Hedwig M. Aeillo; two sons, Michael P. Aeillo of Omaha, Neb. and Thomas P. Aeillo of Middletown; a brother, Joseph Aeillo of Philadelphia; two sisters, Aurelia Bevilaqua andRose D'annoballo, both of Philadelphia; and four grandchildren.
KENNETH H. DODSON WELDER, 69
Services took place for Glen Burnie resident Kenneth H. Dodson on Thursday, March 14, at Kirkley Funeral Home.
Mr. Dodson, 69, died March 11 at North Arundel Hospital.
He was employed as a welder for 20 years at BWI Airport until his retirement in 1983. He also served in the Navy during World War II.
Mr. Dodson is survived by six daughters, Patricia Thibeault of Glen Burnie; Elizabeth Boudreau of San Antonio, Texas; Mary Cashman, Virginia Bounainto, Barbara Pringle and Tammy Arbogast, all of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Byers of Yazoo City, Miss., and Ruth Hines of Huntsville, Ala.; a brother, Charles Dodson of Fayetteville, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
