Agricultural fair set for Saturday in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS--The Maryland Department of Agriculture has added a large crafts, gourmet food and plant sales to its "Open House" celebration to be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The "Old Tyme Farmers' Market," which will feature some 40 vendors at more than 50 tables selling everything from hand carved dolls and decoys, to gourmet smoked game-bird meat, to herbal crafts and handmade children's clothing, along with 'Maryland With Pride' T-shirts and plants.

The 'Maryland With Pride' 10K run will start the day at 9 a.m. All events will take place at MDA headquarters, 50 Harry S. Truman Parkway.
