THEFT: Western District -- While Officer Gregory Greene, of the Southwestern District, was chasing a wanted man in the 2800 block of Harlem Ave. Tuesday afternoon, someone entered the officer's unattended police car, took the keys from the ignition, opened the trunk and stole a police shotgun and 25 shotgun shells, all valued at more than $600. The thief left the keys in the trunk lock.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Judith Zabrowski, 30, of the 100 block of N. Kenwood Ave., reported she was walking in the 2000 block of E. Monument St. yesterday when a man approached her from behind and snatched her purse containing cash and other property, all valued at more than $70.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 2000 block of Portugal St. reported that someone broke into her home by forcing a bathroom window and stole a TV. A male acquaintance is being sought.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone broke into a dwelling in the 100 block of N. Collington Ave. through a basement window and stole property valued at more than $800.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Police today were seeking two men who threatened an Emerald Cab Co. driver with a knife and robbed him of $100 in cash yesterday near the 6300 block of Cardiff Ave. One of the men held a knife against the cabbie's throat while the accomplice rifled the victim's pockets and took his wallet. The driver was not injured.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Southeastern District -- Police responding to a burglary in the 1700 block of E. Lombard St. entered a house and arrested a 22-year-old man as an intruder. Nothing was reported missing. The suspect, a resident of the 5400 block of Gist Ave. in Pimlico, was being held pending charges.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Domenica Burton, 20, of the 4600 block of Marble Hall Road, reported she was in the 2000 block of E. Monument St. yesterday when a man armed with a handgun choked her and robbed her of jewelry valued at $100. The assailant was wearing a yellow and green jacket.

ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Michael Johnson, of the 2300 block of Montebello Ave., reported that a woman stabbed him in the left arm with a pair of scissors during a dispute near his home early yesterday. The woman, 42, was arrested and held pending charges.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Edward Roach, of the 2000 block of Belair Road, reported that on two occasions, someone removed two paychecks from his mailbox. Roach said the paychecks were removed on March 9 and March 16.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Henry Schlogel, of the 4300 block of Parkview Ave., reported that someone entered a boat stored in his back yard and stole property and equipment valued at nearly $1,700.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- An 8-year-old boy was riding his $70 bike near his home in the 4800 block of Truesdale Ave. when an older youth knocked him off the bike and stole it. The victim was not injured.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 7200 block of Jimrowe Court reported that someone broke into her apartment and stole property valued at $200.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Property valued at nearly $800 was stolen from a dwelling in the 1600 block of Montpelier St. after someone gained entry through a basement door.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone broke into an apartment in the 1700 block of E. 28th St. through a second-floor window and stole property valued at nearly $450.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Paul Silverman, of the 4100 block of Lochcarrow Road in Perry Hall reported he was at a bus stop in the 2100 block of Belair Road early yesterday when two men approached him. One man placed a hard object in his back and demanded his money, and the other assailant robbed him of $25 and his wristwatch.

THEFT/ARRESTS: Northeastern District -- Police responding to a shoplifting at the Ames department store in the 2500 block of Belair Road yesterday arrested two men who attempted to leave the store without paying for clothing valued at nearly $300. The men were being held pending a bail hearing in District Court.

ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Norris Booker, of the 5700 block of Sefton Ave., reported that a man stabbed him in the chest with a knife during an incident yesterday afternoon in the 1600 block of Homestead St. Booker was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Property valued at more than $400 was stolen from a dwelling in the 3400 block of Erdman Ave. yesterday after someone gained entry by breaking a basement door window.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 6500 block of Pioneer Drive reported that someone broke into her home through a door yesterday and stole a camera, a TV, a VCR and several pieces of jewelry, all valued at more than $4,000.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that someone entered an apartment in the 2200 block of Pentland Drive with a key and stole a VCR, a compact disc player and several discs, all valued at more than $400.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 2700 block of Fenwick Ave. told police that a TV and a telephone, together valued at more than $300, were stolen from his home after someone gained entry through a rear basement door.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into Public School 315 in the 1500 block of Ashburton St. through a side window and ransacked 20 classrooms. It was not immediately known if any property was missing.

ROBBERY: Western District -- The bartender at the New Frontier Bar in the 2800 block of Edmondson Ave. told police he was returning from the restroom when he saw two men, one armed with a handgun, standing behind the bar attempting to open the cash register. the men failed to open the register but ran off with a VCR and some coins.

THEFT: Western District -- Aaron A. Johnson, of the 2400 block of Lauretta Ave., reported that someone entered his home and stole a 13-inch TV valued at more than $200. Johnson suspects an acquaintance.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Police reported that a man known as "Daddy-O" was being sought in the armed robbery yesterday of Dannette Johnson, 51, of the 200 block of N. Bethel St., who was attacked as she walked in the 200 block of Douglass Court. Johnson told police the man threatened her with a handgun and robbed her of $14.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: Woodlawn -- District -- Two men wearing stocking masks and armed with sawed-off shotguns robbed the Hardee's restaurant in the 8700 block of Liberty Road in Randallstown last night and escaped with an undisclosed sum of money. Police said the robbers burst into the restaurant shortly before 9 o'clock and announced a holdup. They then ordered several employees and customers to lie on the floor before stealing money from the cash registers. Police said the bandits apparently drove off in a car. Police said the robbers did not appear to be part of the "shotgun gang" terrorizing area residents and other businesses for several months but may have been imitating it.

ROBBERY: Garrison District -- Employees of the Burger King restaurant in the 8000 block of Liberty Road told police that a man wearing a ski mask and armed with a silver-colored handgun entered the business shortly before midnight and robbed them of an undisclosed amount of money from a cash register.

Anne Arundel

STABBING: Jessup -- State Police and Maryland Division of Correction officials today were continuing their investigation of the stabbing of an inmate at the House of Correction in an area known as "the Flats." Police said the inmate, William Hazell, was found by a security officer about 3:30 p.m. yesterday bleeding from several minor stab wounds of the upper right arm and head. Hazell was treated at the prison infirmary and was placed in a segregation unit pending the outcome of the probe. Police said no one has been charged with the stabbing.

ARREST: Glen Burnie -- Police investigating the armed robbery of a High's dairy store last week arrested and charged a suspect. Police said a handgun found in the stairwell of an apartment building in the 400 block of Glen Mar Road, along with other evidence, led to the arrest of John Stewart, 31, of the 7600 block of Spencer Road in Glen Burnie. Police said Stewart was charged with armed robbery of the High's store in the 7900 block of Crain Highway last week and is being held in the county Detention Center. Police said a bandit pointed a handgun at a clerk in the dairy store in the 7900 block of Crain Highway and forced him to hand over money from a cash register. The gunman fled toward the Glen Mar Apartments,where police later recovered the gun. Police said Stewart was staying at the apartment complex at the time.

ROBBERY: Glen Burnie -- Police today continued their search for rTC a man who robbed the 7-Eleven store in the 400 block of Old Mill Road of about $40 in cash and several cartons of cigarettes. Police said a man wearing a maroon ski mask, tan jacket, blue jeans and brown leather gloves forced a clerk to give him money from the cash register.

BURGLARY: Crownsville -- A resident of the 900 block of Coulson Road reported that someone broke into his home through a door and stole $300.

BURGLARY: Severn -- Someone forced open a door at a dwelling in the 7800 block of Quarterfield Road and stole appliances and other items, all valued at nearly $1,900.

Carroll County

THEFT: Eldersburg -- Someone stole two tires and wheels from a car parked outside a dwelling in the first block of Marimich Court. The property was valued at $200.

BURGLARY: Mount Airy -- A resident of the first block of S. Main St. reported that someone broke into his home and stole property valued at nearly $700.
