Coaches' comments: BOYS -- "It looks like we're going to get another real strong group of sprinters (in the freshman class). Our concern is replacing Steve Forman. We don't have the dominant sprinter we've had for the last 20 years or so." GIRLS -- "Thegirls team is definitely rebuilding. We've got some good, young kids. But it's hard for a freshman to come in and have an impact."
TheCarroll County Sun's outlook: BOYS -- Even without Forman, Key should be in good shape to defend its regional title and make another run at the state championship. The Eagles also should be a solid second in the county and contenders for the MVAL crown, with Middletown beingthe primary challenger. GIRLS -- With the loss of several important athletes to graduation and injury, the Eagles will not reach their usual lofty heights this year. Third or fourth in the county and the middle of the pack in the MVAL are likely.
