Homebuilders to hold annual Builder Mart
The Home Builders Association of Maryland will hold its annual Builder Mart from noon to 9 p.m. March 21 at the State Fairgrounds in Timonium.
More than 200 exhibitors will display the latest in building materials, marketing services, kitchens, bathrooms, computers, hardware, financial services, windows and doors.
More than 5,000 building industry professionals are expected to attend the mart, including homebuilders, remodelers, commercial builders, management companies, architects, Realtors, developers and suppliers.
Admission is $30 and includes a bull and oyster roast.
Builders association to sponsor home show
The Frederick County Builders Association will hold its 1991 home show today at the Frederick fairgrounds.
The show will feature more than 220 exhibits of new-home construction, remodeling, landscaping, redecorating and other subjects. The show will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Home warranty council offers expert advice
Building a home? Issues such as extended home warranties, financing programs and signs of quality construction will be discussed at a March 27 seminar sponsored by the Home Owners Warranty Council of Maryland. The seminar will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Home Builders Association of Maryland, 1502 Woodlawn Drive, Baltimore.

Seminar to be held for religious community
The Real Estate Center, in cooperation with Johns Hopkins University, will host a seminar to discuss the religious community's role in building housing for low- and moderate-income residents of the Baltimore area.
The seminar is designed to teach members of the religious community about development issues.
The seminar will begin at 1:30 p.m. on March 27 at the Johns Hopkins University Downtown Center, Charles and Saratoga streets in Baltimore. For more information, call 547-1591.
