* OUTLOOK: The last time these two got together (Feb. 10) they combined for 294 penalty minutes and 11 ejections. The Capitals (32-33-6) defeated hapless Quebec 5-3 last night to draw to a fourth-place tie with New Jersey for the final playoff spot with 70 points. The Flyers (32-31-9) aren't much more comfortable, in third place with a three-point cushion that could evaporate with a loss. Ron Hextall pulled a groin muscle in Los Angeles on Tuesday so Ken Wregget is expected to carry the load down the stretch. Caps coach Terry Murray has been using Don Beaupre and Mike Liut in goal.
