Coach: Scott Moyer, fifth year

Assistant coach: John Kovach

Last year's record: 56-22 (including tournaments), fifth in the MAC Tournament

Top returnees: Senior Eric Watkinson; juniors John Olsh, Ken Werley; sophomores Tom Brandt, Steve Comes, Jeff Dierks

Top newcomers: Sophomore Scott Lyon; freshmen Corey Duncan, Jon Bleckley, Jimmy Naughton

Coach's comments: "Last year, we didn't do as well in the Middle Atlantic Conference Tournament as our talent dictated. Last year, we had all the talent, but we would have had to been lucky to win the MAC. We've got all of the players back, and they're more experienced. That's their goal -- to win the MAC. They're dedicated to what they are doing."

The Carroll County Sun's outlook: The Green Terrors should do better than they did a year ago, and Moyer said some of the newcomers should push for starts near the bottom of his line-up. Having an on-campus course, the use of nearby Bear Creek Golf Club on weekends and an indoor practice area in the Gill PhysicalEducation Center give the team excellent Division III facilities. The tournament schedule will feature many major college programs from around the East, especially at the Naval Academy Invitational. The Green Terrors also play host to a pair of tournaments on the college course, one of which has a waiting list of five teams hoping to get in,Moyer said. Look for a serious run at the MAC crown.
