THE BALTIMORE EVENING SUN

VS. CHARLOTTE HORNETS

* WHERE: Charlotte Coliseum.

* WHEN: Tonight, 7:30.

* TV/RADIO: Ch. 20; WTOP-AM 1500, WINX-AM 1600.

* OUTLOOK: The Bullets' losing streak is at nine overall, and they've lost eight straight on the road. In Charlotte, the Bullets (22-39) may catch a break with Rex Chapman (hyperextended left knee and bruised ribs) and his replacement Dell Curry (partially separated left shoulder) both questionable. But Bullets forward Harvey Grant (sore right ankle) also remains sidelined and will not play.

Charlotte (18-42 and 12-17 at home) has been playing well, shooting better than 50 percent from the field in its last two games, and comes into tonight's match off a 107-98 victory in Milwaukee. The Hornets and the Bullets have met twice this season, and split on the home courts. The Bullets lost in Charlotte on Nov. 13, 120-105.
