Psychotherapist Leonora Heys has opened a full-time private practicein Columbia at the Medical Arts Building along Little Patuxent Parkway.

A Columbia resident since 1970, Heys is a licensed clinical social worker and was a senior psychotherapist in the Columbia Medical Plan's Psychiatry Department for 17 years until January of this year.

She is also a volunteer consultant for Citizens Against Spousal Assault (CASA) and served for six years as a board member of the Columbia Foundation.
