BSO COMES TO CARROLL

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, with Christopher Seaman conducting, will perform in concert at 8 p.m. March 14 at Westminster High School, 1225 Washington Road.

The program includes Brahms' "Academic Festival Overture," Mendelssohn's "Violin Concerto in E Minor" and Dvorak's "Symphony No. 8 in G Major."

Violinist Dong-Suk Kang, an international recitalist and orchestral soloist, will be soloist for Mendelssohn's concerto, one of the most popular of all violin concertos.

Tickets for the concert may bepurchased at Stu's Music, Scharon's Black Eagle, Coffey's Music, theCarroll County Arts Council, Hess Music and Laumann's Florist.
