Dana Johnson: A Parade All-American

THE BALTIMORE EVENING SUN

Sunday's Parade Magazine will list Western's Dana Johnson among the 10 first-team All-American high school girls basketball players in the country.

Johnson, The Evening Sun Most Valuable Player in the recent Metro Classic and The Evening Sun Player of the Year last season, averaged 21 points and 21 rebounds for the No. 1-ranked Doves (25-1) this season.

A 6-foot-3 power forward, Johnson will attend the University of Tennessee next fall, as will Parade All-American first-teamers 6-6 Vonda Ward (Trinity High, Garfield Heights, Ohio) and 5-7 Tiffany Woosley (Central High, Shelbyville, Tenn.).
