3 fatally shot in separate city incidents


Three men have been fatally shot in separate incidents, police said.

About 7:40 p.m. yesterday, police received a call that there was body outside an apartment building in the 500 block of S. Chapelgate Lane.

Police found the body of Anthony Hardaway, 27, address unknown. He had been shot and may have received other injuries, police said.

Richard Alexander Savoy, of the 2500 block of Greenmount Ave., was shot about 5:40 p.m. yesterday during a quarrel with his stepfather, Nelson Motley, 48, of the same address, police said.

FTC Motley was charged with murder and was being held at the Northern District station, where he was awaiting a bail hearing, -- police said.

About 4:30 p.m. yesterday, David Magor, 26, of the 3600 block of W. Belvedere Ave., was fatally stabbed in the chest in the 5100 block of Park Heights Ave., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Charged with murder in connection with Magor's death is Gregory Jackson, 39, of the 5000 block of Denmore Ave., police said. Bail for Jackson had not been set, police said.
