Sarah Jane Bundy, at 71, music teacher

Sarah Jane Bundy, a retired music teacher who was involved in community and church affairs, died Friday at Harbor Hospital Center after a long illness. She was 71 and lived in Cherry Hill.

Services for Mrs. Bundy will be held at noon Thursday at the Pennsylvania Avenue African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, at Pennsylvania Avenue and Dolphin Street.

Mrs. Bundy is survived by her husband of 48 years, retired District Judge James L. Bundy.

Also surviving are, two sons, Raymond Bundy of Washington and Henry Bundy of Arnold; three daughters, Lorna Gail Bundy of Chapel Hill, N.C., Deborah Lindsay of Kernersville, N.C., and Jayme Bundy of Baltimore; a sister, the Rev. Virginia Scott of Washington; a brother, Cline Cannon of Columbus, Ga.; and 12 grandchildren.
