Chesapeake senior forward Amy Ordakowski was omitted from last week's listing of the coaches' 4A League first-team All-County girls basketball selections.

Ordakowski averaged 14 points and eight rebounds this season for the Cougars, who went 8-11 under third-year coach Ginger Woods. She also had 34 assists, 11 blocks and 35 steals.

Joining Ordakowski on the first team are North County's Kim Miller and Renita Johnson, Broadneck's Andrea Macey, Old Mill's Stacy Himes and Arundel's Donna Parker.

Ordakowski's teammate, Junior forward Mattie Cyzmek, was chosen honorable mention.

Hospital golf tourney

North Arundel Hospital will start its third annual golf tournament at 11:30 a.m. May 20 at the Turf Valley Country Club in Ellicott City, Howard County.

This year, the hospital has reserved both 18-hole courses to accommodate 288 golfers for the best-ball tourney. The event also will provide a pit-beef lunch, cart refreshments, cocktail hour, hors d'oeuvres, a sit-down dinner and an awards ceremony.
