Dr. Harvey I. Abelson, founder of Engineering Review Programs of Greater Washington, will teach "Principles of Engineering for Professionals and General Review" at Howard Community College this spring.

The course is designed for engineers of all disciplines who wish to prepare for the Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) exam.

It is also designed for mechanical engineers who wish to prepare for the ME option of the Principals and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam.

Following the core course, EIT enrollees will be required totake three additional sessions covering electrical circuits.

PE enrollees will take three additional sessions covering heat transfer/energy systems, turbomachinery/fluids and topics in mechanical design.

On March 5 an information session and first class is scheduled at6:30 p.m. at the HCC Hickory Ridge Building, 10650 Hickory Ridge Road, Columbia.

The cost is $475, which includes notes and problems.
