James S. Morris is appointed regional sales manager for Cushwa Brick Inc., a manufacturer of machine-molded and handmade brick. He will be responsible for sales and distribution of the company's products in the mid-Atlantic and southeast regional areas. He was previously general manager/marketing manager for Boral Brick's Lynchburg, Va., plant.
At MET Electrical Testing Co. Inc., Walter Moore joins the Baltimore sales office as sales engineer. He has over six years of test equipment sales experience with EIL Instruments' Electrical Test Equipment Division and Black & Associates, where he was a manufacturer's representative.

Donald L. DeVries Jr., a partner in the law firm of Goodell, DeVries, Leech and Gray, is appointed chairman of the Board of Visitors of the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Mary Delgado Waby is named marketing coordinator for Pompeian Inc., a Baltimore-based importer and bottler of olive oil and red wine vinegar. She will be responsible for in-house promotions and local marketing programs for all Pompeian products. She was previously an account executive with HSN Telemation in Clearwater, Fla.
At Fair Lanes Inc., an independent bowling center operator, Susan E. Nocitra is appointed director of marketing. She was previously an account supervisor with Foote, Cone & Belding, a Chicago-based advertising agency. The contemporary interior design firm of Jesse Benesch & Associates has changed its name to Benesch Gasser in recognition of president Keith Gasser's role in the interior design field.
He was a founding member of Jesse Benesch & Associates and has been with the firm throughout its 30 years. The name change coincides with the firm's recent move from Falls Road to a 175-year-old former Baptist church on Old Court Road in Pikesville.
At the H. Chambers Co., Richard A. Snellinger is appointed controller and chief financial officer. He will be responsible for all accounting functions, finance and treasury functions, inventory management, business management of the firm as well as the date processing functions for both the Baltimore and Nassau offices. Former Bankruptcy Judge Harvey M. Lebowitz, who left the firm of Frank, Bernstein, Conaway & Goldman, becomes managing partner of Whiteford, Taylor & Preston.
In addition, a lawyer previously with Frank Bernstein, associate Kenneth Oestreicher, joins Whiteford as a senior associate in the bankruptcy department.
Lebowitz was a United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Maryland from 1979 to 1982 and was chief judge when he resigned from the bench in 1982 to establish and head the bankruptcy department at Frank, Bernstein. When he resigned, he cited a difference of opinion on the firm's restructuring of its bankrupcy and loan-workout department.
Oestreicher was with the U.S. Department of Justice from 1972 to 1988 and was senior trial counsel in the Commercial Litigation Branch from 1982 to 1988 specializing in bankruptcy law.
Dorothy Wilson joins Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander as an associate. She will concentrate her practice in litigation.
At Weinberg and Green, health care attorney Stephen J. Sfekas joins the firm as a partner in the Health Care Practice Group. He was previously a partner with Miles & Stockbridge.
