Her husband, Claude D. Hill Sr., a Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. employee, died several years ago.

The former Carrie Brown is survived by two daughters, Madessa H. Wallace and Hazel H. Givens; a son, Dr. Claude D. Hill Jr.; two brothers, Harvey S. Brown and Ernest H. Brown, all of Baltimore; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
