Michael J. Riley of Ellicott City, has been promoted to senior vice president of the Daughters of Charity National Health System-East Region based in Linthicum.

In addition to his responsibility for finance of the east region, Riley has assumed several general management duties involving responsibility for information services.

Riley, a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, is a certified public accountant and a certified management accountant.

He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Maryland.
