Services for Isabel J. Hayes, a retired practical nurse, will be held at 7 p.m. today at the March Funeral Home, 4300 Wabash Ave.

Mrs. Hayes, who was 77 and lived on Dolfield Avenue, died Monday of cancer at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

She retired about a year ago as a private-duty practical nurse.

The former Isabel Bratcher was a native of the Centreville area. Her husband, Jesse Hayes, died in 1974.

She is survived by a son, Marvin Hayes Sr., of Baltimore; three sisters, Helen Bratcher of Philadelphia, Dorothy Bratcher of Baltimore and Bernice Lively of Chestertown; a brother, Arnold Bratcher of Chestertown; and a grandson.
