Robert S. Harrison Social Security retiree


Services for Robert S. Harrison, a retired supervisor at Social Security Administration headquarters, will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Hunting Ridge Presbyterian Church, Edmondson Avenue and Winans Way.

Mr. Harrison, who was 73 and lived on Bobby Road in Catonsville, died Saturday of pneumonia at St. Agnes Hospital.

He retired in 1981 after 35 years with Social Security, then began two part-time jobs, driving a school bus in the Catonsville and Woodlawn area and taking tickets for the Orioles at Memorial Stadium.

He liked fresh and saltwater fishing and camping.

A native of Monongahela, Pa., he came to Baltimore in 1941 and graduated from the Cortez Peters Business School.

Mr. Harrison served in the Army during World War II.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, the former Regonis Adams; a son, Eric Stephen Harrison of Randallstown; a brother, Joseph Harrison of Newark, N.J.; and a granddaughter.
