St. Frances' Devin Gray led his team to two victories, as the Panthers captured their first regular-season Catholic League basketball title. Gray, a 6-foot-6 senior center, had 39 points and 14 rebounds in a 96-63 win over Towson Catholic and 27 points and 12 rebounds in a 108-68 win over Archbishop Curley.

Notre Dame Prep's Becky Mann did all of the scoring to lead her team to two victories and the championship in the Association of Independent Schools Winter Soccer Tournament. Mann, a junior center half, scored the only goals in 1-0 victories over Bryn Mawr and McDonogh.
