Should Rip outearn Davis?

Newly acquired first baseman Glenn Davis signed a $3,275,000 contract with the Orioles Tuesday, making him the team's highest-paid player. Cal Ripken, whose contract expires after the 1992 season, will make $2,466,667 in 1991.

Do you think the Orioles should renegotiate Ripken's contract so that he is the team's highest-paid player this season?
