Services for Patricia Smallwood, who had been a singer in her youth, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Leroy Harris Funeral Home, 638 N. Gilmore St.
Mrs. Smallwood, who was 57 and lived on McCulloh Street, died Friday at Maryland General Hospital of liver disease.
A native of Baltimore, the former Patricia Allen was a graduate of Douglass High School.
She was a soloist with a choir that sang gospel music on a weekly Sunday morning radio program while in her teens. As a young woman, she sang in local night clubs.
She is survived by her husband, Louis Smallwood; two daughters, Bernadette Scott and Marsha Wilkins; three sisters, Lydia Rivera, Beatrice Foote and Mabel Kelly; five brothers, William, Marshall, John, Harry and Paul Allen; and five grandchildren. All are of Baltimore.
