Poly upsets Annapolis, 85-83

Senior forward Tony Jenkins scored a game-high 30 points, leading No. 14 Poly to an 85-83 basketball upset of fourth-ranked Annapolis yesterday.

The Engineers (8-9) avenged a 72-56 loss to the Panthers in the title game of the Capital Classic at Annapolis in December.

Annapolis (14-2) was led by Delmore Howard, who scored 22, and Rob Wooster, who added 17.

Antwain Smith scored 19 for Poly.
