Services will take place for Elizabeth E. Norgaard at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at St. Andrews Chapel, U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis.

Mrs. Norgaard, 84, died of emphysema on Jan. 27 in Winter Park.

A county resident since 1969, Mrs. Norgaard worked with the Department of Foreign Languages at the Naval Academy from 1946 through 1949.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Naval Academy Women's Club, the Naval Academy Garden Club, the Navy Relief Society and the Naval Academy Altar Guild. She was chairwoman of the MilitaryWives' Club in Washington in 1954.

She is survived by her husband, retired Rear Adm. Rollo N. Norgaard; a daughter, Elizabeth Pendelton DeLaBarre of Arlington, Va.; a sister, Louis Baker of Conway, S.C.;four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Navy Wives of America, Orlando 267, Naval Training Center, Orlando, Fla. 32813, or to the Salvation Army.

Arrangements are being made by Hardesty Funeral Home of Annapolis.
