Because of an error in a legislative schedule compiled by the Associated Press, The Sun incorrectly reported on Sunday this week's hearing schedule for the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Law Enforcement and Transportation.
The subcommittee will receive a briefing today on recidivism rates at Patuxent Institution. On Thursday, the subcommittee will review the budgets of the state Lottery Agency, Police and Correctional Training Commissions, fire prevention commission and fire marshal's office and the inmate grievance commission. The subcommittee meets each day at 2 p.m. in Room 431 of the House Office Building in Annapolis.
