FREE SHUTTLE STARTS IN HAVRE DE GRACE

The River City Shuttle begins free weekday bus services in Havre de Grace next Monday, county administrators announced.

The shuttle service -- similar to the Town-Go-Round in Bel Air -- will operate Monday through Friday, making 45-minute loops between 9:30 a.m. and 4:08 p.m.

The shuttle will make 19 stops, including Chesapeake Industrial Park, Battery Village, Seneca and Wilson streets, Wilson and BloomburyAvenue, Bloombury and Giles Street, J. M. Huber Co., Harford Memorial Hospital, Tydings Park and Concord Point Lighthouse.

Other stopsinclude: Graw Senior Housing, Havre de Grace Senior Center, St. JohnTowers, Havre de Grace branch county library, Pennington Avenue and Washington Street, Bay City Park, Ostego and Stokes streets, SomersetManor, Ontario Street and Legion Drive, and Havre de Grace High.

Riders will be able to transfer to the county town-to-town service atthe hospital, library and J. M. Huber.

The bus service will be operated by the city and the county's Transportation Services.
