Sheila Gorde of Columbia has been promoted to manager of cardiopulmonary services at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney.

A MGH employee for more than four years, Gorde previously served as critical care coordinator for the hospital's respiratory therapy department.

Gorde received her bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy from Columbia Union College in Takoma Park.
