Robert A. Bolin Executive at USF

Services for Robert A. Bolin, a retired senior vice president of USF&G; Corp., will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

Mr. Bolin, who was 73 and moved to Mount Pleasant from Timonium in 1982 when he retired, died Saturday after a heart attack at the home of a daughter in Atlanta, where he was recuperating from back surgery.

A native of Atlanta and a graduate of the John Marshall Law School there, he started working in Atlanta for the insurance company. He also worked in Columbia, S.C., before starting an assignment of almost 35 years at the company's Baltimore headquarters.

He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy Mobley; three daughters, Judith Smith of Atlanta, Patricia Cecil of Gibson Island and Margaret O'Dell of Bristol, Tenn.; a brother, James M. Bolin of Jacksonville, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.
