An Arnold man was robbed early last Thursday in Freetown Village, county police reported.
The police said the man was walking on Whitacker Road near Liberty Circle about 2 a.m. when another man struck upa conversation with him.
The assailant pulled a knife and yanked a necklace from the man'sneck.
The police described the robber as a black male, about 20.
2 PASSENGERS STEAL CAB DRIVER'S MONEY
An Annapolis cab driver wasrobbed early last Thursday by two men he drove to Ashton Court.
The police said the Blue Star Cab Co. driver got a call to pick up themen at 1:35 a.m. in the unit block Bens Drive. The men asked to be taken to Forest Village apartments. Upon arrival, they asked to be taken to the 1200 block Ashton Court.
When they arrived there, one ofthe robbers grabbed the driver by the neck and demanded money.
LINTHICUM GUNMAN ROBS SHELL STATION
An armed man robbed the Shell gasstation in Linthicum last Thursday, police said.
Police said the robber entered the station on Route 648 about 2:30 a.m. and demanded money from customers and the clerk.
After collecting money, the robber hit one of the customers in the forehead with the butt of his gun. He told everyone to lie on the floor, and as he left the station, he fired one shot into the air.

8300 block of Route 3: entry gained through thedoor. Money taken. Total loss: $330.
